One thing I love about spring fashion is that it’s okay to get wild and crazy over colors and designs and not look odd or weird wearing it this way. And this year, it’s particularly interesting because even handbags are going the way of colorblocking.
Colorblocking has dominated spring fashion lines in the past, except that it’s been mostly applied to clothes. But now it’s also on handbags and recent runway shows have presented quite an interesting selection for it.
From Style.Com’s archive of fashion, these eccentric bags have been spotted at the 2011 Spring Fashion runway shows. The styles and designs show “fun” and “playful” in different ways and fits the spirit of the season perfectly.
Jil Sander, Leather triangle clutch, $695, at Barneys New York. Fancy looking, the shape may be challenging, but the bag looks spacious enough. Plus, the colors are bright and fun and will go with any spring wear.

Prada is going with the crumpled look, which is also seen in their clothing line next season. Not quite sure if I’m loving it. It is looks Bohemian and may be a style not a lot of people can carry.
