Michael Kors has an amazing collection of handbags, that I realized this year. Most of his designs are chic and quite practical looking. They are stylish without going over the top. They are trendy and fashionable, but they can be classic pieces as well. And most important of all to me, is that they are functional, roomy and convenient to carry around.

At a Dallas auction early this week, this Hermes Diamond Birkin handbag went for $203,150, but the collector wishes to be anonymous, Heritage Auctions claims.
