France’s gorgeous First Lady Carla Bruni is such a fashion icon, of course because at one point she was a fashion model. It’s no surprise she’d pursue endeavors related to this.
The Carla Bag was presented to the First Lady recently. It’s made of black hessian and cotton by cooperatives in Khayelitsha, South Africa. For every purchase of this bags, now out in limited productions, proceeds will go to building a fresh new coop building in the African region.
The bags aren’t cheap though. They cost about €100 but at least when someone buys one of this, it’s not exactly a senseless purchase.
