Designer Diane De Maria’s inspiration for this bag was her grandfather, Pierre de Maria’s surrealist paintings. This handbag is part of a collection that is grouped into six types that varies in style (from a doctor’s bag to a slim tote). The bags are fashioned from French calf and lambskin. They’re supposed to be water resistant with gold plated brass and very polished zippers.
The collection will be seen at Beyond 7 in New York.
