When talking about quilted handbags, Chanel would be the first name that pop into my head. Marc Jacobs has producing quilted handbags that seem to be a Chanel-rip-off in the literal sense. Like one of my art teachers said that if you want to borrow somebody else’s idea, you’d better make it better than the original. Miu Miu Nappa Quilted Hobo is a good example of that. The bag is quilted but you can’t really relate it to Chanel’s signature quilt pattern whatsoever. Made of black quilted leather with all over goldtone stud detail treading the refined side of tough chic. This look is a must for fall.
