I haven’t seen this nor am I a viewer of the Real Housewives series, but apparently in a recent episode, one of the housewive’s eleven year old daughter celebrated her birthday and was gifted with a Louis Vuitton handbag.

Personally, indulging in a few luxuries is fine. We all deserve this once in a while. The people we love deserve this once in a while. But granted that it’s her parents’ money and they can spend it however they want, a lot of you would definitely agree that spending for a luxury bag for someone as young as this girl is sending the wrong message when she probably isn’t aware how much the bag is worth. And I’m not just speaking in terms of it’s price value, but its worth versus the state of the world’s economy today.
