But that may all change with this Nude Collection, which is set for launching today, the first of September, in connection with the launch of their newest fragrance named Body.

I like the fact that these handbags are totally without frills and embellishments. Made of leather and suede, these are really elegant and has none of that plaid print Burberry is known for. Designer Christopher Bailey definitely made sure to play it all up on the bag’s material and design.

Millions of counterfeit bags proliferate the market and it’s a situation that manufacturers of designer bags do not seem to have real control. The internet is especially full of counterfeit bags and Louis Vuitton, Coach, Gucci, Hermes and Burberry are just five of the most copied designer bag labels.

Many of these counterfeit items not only copy the design of the bag. They also make use of the designer’s logo illegally, meaning, they make their own styles and designs and then put the designer’s logo on it.

Majority of these branded bags are only available in limited quantities, not in loads of pieces that many fake sellers carry at one time. Original bags are sold at their very own designer stores. They are also made available in authorized major retail stores, but again, still in limited quantities. This is one way manufacturers and designers control their products.  Like most limited items, they are a lot more valuable when sold and produced this way.

This is one way to check if the bag sold is fake or not. When you see many kinds of it at the store, and the store is not a major authorized retailer, then you can surely bet on the bag being a fake.

However, if you see one and only item being auctioned off at E-bay, for instance…then there’s a chance it may be an original bag that someone (who is most likely not a retailer but only trying to unload stuff) is trying to sell. Make the pertinent inquiries before you confirm your purchase of this bag.

These bags are super expensive. Owning them isn’t actually just a status symbol but an investment because they last longer, stay durable for years and retain their style and texture for a long time. Some of these bags can even be heirloom pieces passed on from generation to generation.

Burberry has been cutting down those check patterns lately. This one is another understated design from the house. Burberry Prosum Avelene Small Leather Clutch is classic. Made of chocolate leather with goldtone zip at top. The design made interesting by goldtone chain wristlet at side with frayed signature check fabric. Though I’m not sure about the frayed fabric, it looks like the chain got caught on the fibers and strings of fabric. A washer or dryer can do that snag/fray affect and you know what I’m talking about because this makes the clutch look cheap. The distressed look is not for all accessory. Especially, this one that has over all clean and sleek design.

Burberry Nylon Shopper

Some people like enormous labels and logos on their bags, I prefer something more subtle because I don’t want to be under the spotlight. I like it when the style speaks for itself. Just like this Burberry Metallic Leather Hobo, it’s understated yet elegant. Unlike most of Burberry handbags that made of signature check canvas, this one is made from a shimmering metallic leather with tonal check pattern cover. So you need to come up close and personal in order to notice the check pattern. This bag is gorgeous but when I realized that this ‘imported’ bag costs almost $1,800 that’s a deal-breaker for me. Burberry handbags are now being made in sweat shops in China and they have become more and more expensive for the buyers. Where is the integrity of the brand? If you run into the CEO Angela Ahrendts, please let her know that we are outraged.

I love this bag! You wouldn’t have even thought it’s from burberry.

Its all over studs is really cool matched with tough leather.Now i know some of you are quite wary with open tote bags well, i hear ya, but the key to this one is not to carry too much importantstuff in it. or maybe cover them with a book or a magazine orsomething. This is perfect for stuff that would fit in big bags but you don’t want to carry the bulk.
